The cocktail, made with Momentum Rye, is a riff on a Barbados rum punch from Smuggler’s Cove in San Francisco.

The Autumn Island Punch

Ingredients
- 2 ounces Momentum Rye Whiskey
- ¾ ounce rich simple syrup (2:1 ratio sugar to water)
- ¾ ounce lime juice
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
Instructions
Make the rich simple syrup:
- Regular simple syrup is made with equal parts sugar and water. A rich simple syrup ups it to two parts sugar and one part water.
Make the cocktail:
- Fill a shaker with ice. Add the rye, rich simple syrup, lime juice and bitters.
- Shake and pour into a rocks glass.
