Our Scottish ale, Under the Kilt, is the base for Smashed Pumpkin.

Why it's special
It reminds me of Thanksgiving with family. But we invite everyone to come in and grab a glass and see what Proustian effect makes this ale special to them
How's it taste?
We use our Scottish ale, Under the Kilt, as the base for this ale. The malty biscuit flavors combined with fresh pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices makes a delicious pumpkin pie-flavored ale.
Release Date
On October 4, we have our fall festival with pumpkin carving and painting and will release our Smashed Pumpkin Ale.
Brewed with 100 Apple Annie’s Bakeshop pumpkin pies in each batch, and their special spice blend!
Pumpkin is a dominant flavor, though it’s usually not overwhelmingly sweet. Instead, the pumpkin flavors are earthy, lightly spiced, and warm.
The malt base adds a bit of sweetness and bready notes, often resembling a mild caramel flavor, which rounds out the beer’s profile and gives it a smooth mouthfeel
It might have just enough hops to balance the sweetness, giving it a slight bitterness that keeps it from feeling overly sugary or cloying.
Overall, it’s a well-rounded beer that embraces pumpkin spice flavors with a medium body, making it a perfect choice for crisp autumn days.
